Throughout my career as an Occupational therapist, I have worked for several Early Intervention companies in Philadelphia. It’s been 13 years working with Kids and Family and it has indeed been a wonderful experience for me. Kids and Family is a phenomenal company to work for, for numerous reasons. This organization offers a great amount of individual support and guidance to their employees. The company director, manager and supervisors are always interacting with us as employees on a regular basis so individual needs are recognized and met. This company will always guide you and offer their support regarding various training opportunities, courses and Philadelphia County requirements. They always offer online training classes that are very beneficial for learning new rules and regulations. Management at Kids and Family are extremely encouraging and supportive, and the work environment is very positive and friendly.
Special Instructor
Working in birth to three Early Interventions for almost 15 years has been rewarding, challenging & fun. I love helping families learn new strategies to make positive changes in their child's world, which then leads to positive changes for the family as a whole. The support I get from my Kids and Family coworkers on teams working directly with families, from my supervisors, and from the office staff is amazing. We work together as a team to help families navigate the process of implementing new strategies in their day to day living, often support them as they go through the diagnosis process for their child, and provide community support and resources to help the family. I trust the interventions and strategies from my team members at Kids and Family & I can reach out to anyone with our agency for support at any time and know that I will get it!
