Speech Therapy

Enhancing Communication Skills

Speech Therapy is the part of early intervention to help a child develop in the areas of communication, language, eating, and oral motor development. The Speech Therapist conducts evaluations and consultations and provide ongoing services to enhance receptive and expressive communication and oral motor skills. The therapist will help families identify techniques to help gain skills throughout daily routines.

Occupational Therapy

Boosting Daily Functionality

Occupational therapy is the part of early intervention concerned with helping children to learn to better perform self help and adaptive skills. The therapist may address development in the areas of eating, getting dressed, sensory processing, and fine and gross motor skills. In early intervention, an Occupational Therapist provides interventions which build on a child's unique strengths and interests to help her safely explore her environment and engage in family activities.

Physical Therapy

Unlocking Movement & Potential

Physical Therapists work with children who have various developmental disabilities and motor delays. Their focus is to model and teach families and caregivers the necessary tools to help a child achieve quality and active participation in his home and community. Physical Therapists may focus on strengthening, mobility, balance, coordination, and safety.

This type of therapy can occur across many settings with a variety of methods and materials. Special Instructors also advocate and assist families in accessing community resources and programs based on their needs.
